THE CURRENT WORKFLOW

From source files
to a reviewed liquidity view.

Our current demonstration connects bank-to-book reconciliation with a 13-week forecast. Opening cash ties to approved books; management changes, supporting evidence and reviewer decisions stay in view.

01 / RECONCILE

Establish the cash you can use.

Reconcile bank and ledger data, review reconciling items and distinguish available cash from restricted or unconfirmed balances. Carry approved opening cash into the forecast.

02 / FORECAST

Build a liquidity view you can review.

Bring receipts, payroll, operating costs and financing into a 13-week forecast. Follow figures to their source rows and inspect the calculation checks and open findings.

03 / REVIEW

Understand what changed and why.

Review a proposed change from a management note, compare its effect on liquidity and record the decision. Changed inputs trigger fresh review while earlier approvals remain on record.

See what’s received, what changed and what needs review.

The engagement view brings together data requests, client contacts, file versions, workflow progress and reviewer decisions. A colleague can pick up the record of the work.

Excel stays in the workflow.

Export the forecast, reconciliation, findings and review log into a dated workbook. Supported model-review workflows also provide Excel and CSV outputs.

YOUR FIRM’S WAY OF WORKING

A common foundation.
Your firm’s judgment.

Start with a Recap method, then agree the conventions, checks and decision points that matter in your practice. Your team defines the standard it is prepared to approve.

Firm-specific implementation turns supported requirements into reusable workflow configuration. The goal is to make your expertise useful to the next associate and the next matter.

START WITH SOMETHING THAT MATTERS

Prove the value
on work your team knows.

Start with two or three practitioners and one workflow. Agree what success looks like, compare against your current process, then expand where the results justify it.

01

Start with a finished example.

Choose one repeatable workflow, a suitable source package and an accepted workpaper. Define what a reviewer needs to see.

02

Prove the improvement.

Run alongside your current Claude-assisted process. Compare missed issues, preparation time, corrections and reviewer effort.

03

Build on what works.

Use the results to choose the next capability. Where your firm needs a specific approach, Recap helps configure and test it for reuse.

HOW RECAP FITS

A clearer picture
before you start.

What the platform does, how it fits with your tools and what we agree before a pilot.

How is Recap different from using Claude on its own?

Recap is an industry-specific harness: software that gives AI a defined procedure, calculation tools, source evidence and review rules. Claude can interpret and explain; the supported calculations and checks run in code. Recap’s MCP connector makes its tools available inside Claude, while the ROSS workspace guides the team through an engagement workflow.

What can we evaluate today?

The current integrated demonstration takes a synthetic matter from source-file intake through bank-to-book reconciliation, a 13-week forecast, a management update and a review workbook. It uses defined input templates and an illustrative firm method. Customer pilots require an agreed workflow, compatible files, review criteria and deployment setup. Broader case chat, self-service method imports and additional workstreams are in development.

Can Recap reflect our firm’s way of doing things?

Yes, through configuration of supported methods and checks. We work with your practitioners to define the conventions, exception treatments and approvals for the chosen workflow. Importing an entire skills library is a separate capability under development; uploaded instructions do not automatically become tested calculations or enforced rules.

Do we have to leave Excel?

No. The liquidity workflow exports a dated, values-only Excel workbook with the forecast, reconciliation, findings and review log. The separate model-review workflow supports a defined workbook layout and can export a rebuilt draft with formulas and a findings CSV. Compatibility with your existing templates is part of scoping a pilot.

How do we agree what happens to client data?

Before a customer pilot, we document the hosting environment, access rules, any model processing and retention requirements with your team. The supported reconciliation and forecast calculations run without an LLM. Model-assisted steps are handled separately; a cloud-hosting label alone does not establish where information is processed or retained.
